The different sizes of the plates, the bright colors and the different patterns evoke the typical Ottolenghi feeling of "outrageous casualness". It's about creating tables that are informal but at the same time very lavish, even eccentric. "We tried to tell Ottolenghi's story through objects. It is a story about the tension between the down-to-earth and the sophisticated, between passion and sophistication, tradition and new. Seeming opposites that exist together in dynamic harmony," says Ottolenghi.
